On Love & Tranquility
We begin this journey trusting in the promise of Allah:
وَمِنْ اٰيٰتِهٖٓ اَنْ خَلَقَ لَكُمْ مِّنْ اَنْفُسِكُمْ اَزْوَاجًا لِّتَسْكُنُوْٓا اِلَيْهَا وَجَعَلَ بَيْنَكُمْ مَّوَدَّةً وَّرَحْمَةً ۭ اِنَّ فِيْ ذٰلِكَ لَاٰيٰتٍ لِّــقَوْمٍ يَّتَفَكَّرُوْنَ
"And among His signs is this: He created for you, from yourselves, mates — so that you might find tranquility in them. And He placed between you love and mercy. Surely in this are signs for people who reflect."
Qur'an 30:21 · Surah Ar-Rum
And we ask Allah, as He has taught us to ask:
وَالَّذِيْنَ يَقُوْلُوْنَ رَبَّنَا هَبْ لَنَا مِنْ اَزْوَاجِنَا وَذُرِّيّٰتِنَا قُرَّةَ اَعْيُنٍ وَّاجْعَلْنَا لِلْمُتَّقِيْنَ اِمَامًا
"And those who pray: 'Our Lord, bless us with spouses and children who bring comfort to our eyes, and make us an example for those who are mindful of You.'"
